"I was inspired to make an album that brought stories to the forefront of our consciousness again. I felt like Hip Hop was getting to a place where the same story was being repeated, lacking originality & personality. So I wanted to prove that there was still so much to be said creatively with this artform & medium of Rap. Elements of Myth & what Joseph Campbell called 'The Hero's Journey' are layered throughout the album, as well as my own personal story. It is my hopes that folks who listen will be inspired to think of their own individual stories & how it's all being woven right now into the fabric of history." - Señor Gigio
