"I was inspired to make an album that brought stories to the forefront of our consciousness again. I felt like Hip Hop was getting to a place where the same story was being repeated, lacking originality & personality. So I wanted to prove that there was still so much to be said creatively with this artform & medium of Rap. Elements of Myth & what Joseph Campbell called 'The Hero's Journey' are layered throughout the album, as well as my own personal story.
