It's been a minute since I hopped on 2 log a vlog cuz I been on a jog in the fog but I gotta get up on my boss hog & spike yo' eggnog!
Today, March Friday the 13th, we're completing a full cycle with this Unlucky Jr. character I introduced you to earlier this year. We dropped the “Lounge Songs For Losers” album officially a whole month ago, February Friday the 13th. The Universe just had this all timed out for me. I just had to run with it.
In this time, with Unlucky Jr., we brought you a couple exclusive pieces to promote the album including Unlucky Jr.'s introduction video & also another video where I break down the diffs between me & Unlucky Jr.
Then late January we hit you with the premiere single, “It's a Fix”, with the ill, stylistic visuals bringin' you into Unlucky Jr.'s world of Lost Wages, Nevada & the Trick Dice Casino.
Feb Friday the 13th, we dropped the album including a killer promo with Paka the Plug which reached a lot of new people around the world.
Feb14th, the day after the album release, we dropped the grim & gloomy music video for “Ain't It the Pits”.
Now today, March Friday the 13th, the final music video is here, seeing our antihero in his glory, “Try Walking In Your Own Shoes”.
Friday the 13th! The Universe has this whole thing worked out for me. I've just been in the flow to pay attention to work. But I want you guys to know I've been animating & creating all these videos for Unlucky Jr. in real time. Nothing has been planned out. Other than I knew that I wanted to release this album on a Friday the 13th. February 2026 presented itself as an auspicious Friday the 13th to drop the Unlucky Jr. album.
The album was mixed & mastered by my bro D-Wiz officially late December around Christmas. Since then, I been bustin' my ass drawing & creating art around the project to have it all ready in time for the Feb Friday the 13th release.
It's been a lot of time, work & energy to create these animated music videos. I've had to push myself to do go further each video. With no plan or blueprint. Just the feeling that something needed to be done. After the 2nd music video dropped, I was taxed but my wonderful wife ZiZi encouraged me to persist & create the 3rd final music video. So I did!
I didn't even consider that March would also have a Friday the 13th but here we are & the last music video is out today! I literally finished creating it earlier this week. So we're right on time.
Now we got shirts, CDs, tape cassettes, artwork & listeners / viewers new & old tuning in. Some accolades, a few interviews done. All out the grind!
Thank you Unlucky Jr. for keepin' Señor Gigio in the game. Thank you my brother & collaborator Celador for being a light & blessing this project to go forward! & thank you all my friends, fam & supporters for taking the time to listen to the music, watch the videos & absorb the art!
